UNCLAIMED CERTIFICATES:
Unclaimed certificates will be distributed at the venue at 10 am
on 11th July 2008, all graduates who have not received their
certificates are advised to collect it from the registrar and
look for Jacky.

Our earnest salute to the new Competent Communicator!! Justino
Arciga, Sr. – CC has just finished his Competent Communicator
(CC) vested to him by Toastmasters International from
California, USA through one of its club, Desert Voices
Toastmasters Club in Dubai with distinction as he had awarded as
the best speaker on 28th June 2008 after finishing his 10th
speech.
The current President and member of the Board of Trustee of
Digerati is an Engineer by profession and is currently working as
deputy manager in Etisalat.

“A well rounded person needs to sharpen his head
every day in order to face the challenges of life” Justino said,
“Let us do not stop from mere finishing our baccalaureate degrees,
but let us continue to sharpen ourselves, let us prepare for the
unforeseen event in our respective careers, and let us be ready to
all the challenges ahead” he added.
Justino Arciga, fondly called “Papa Tins” by his closed colleagues,
would like to dedicate his best speaker award to the courageous
people behind the success of Filipino Digerati Association.

Maria Lani Braga is one of the effectual
pillars of Digerati, and trained many Filipinos on MS Word, MS
Excel, MS PowerPoint and Basic Computers in many years, she is
also an Office Specialist of the aforementioned course certified
by Microsoft in USA

Philippine Overseas Labour Office & Overseas Workers Welfare Administration under the effectual leadership of our
very own Philippine Labour Attaché in Dubai and Northern Emirates Hon. Atty. Virginia P. Calvez to upgrade our
computer and professional skills.
It is with honor that Digerati is one of those courageous organizations who whishes to further develop more Filipinos
to become computer literate and be professional in their respective fields.

- July 4 2008 all late registrants may register at the venue on this date;
- 80 course participants per class shall be accepted;
- First come first serve basis (FCFS) only;
- Workshops are free of charge;

PRESIDENT’ S MESSAGE
I wish to express my heartfelt gratefulness to all the
Filipino people who have shown their keen significance and
those who have extended their assistance to the
Filipino
Digerati Association during the recent orientation. The
overwhelming number of course enrollees have proven that
there is a lot of rooms for training organizations to
establish in Dubai which will cater the needs of our
Filipino compatriots especially in the area of computer
literacy coupled with some other professional skills. One of
our vivid commitments is to fill the gap between Filipinos
and Technologies to prepare them with the more demanding-working environment in the UAE.
In behalf of the
Board Of Trusties, trainers, volunteers and officers, deep

hearts, I welcome all our students.
Armed with your willingness, we will present our very best
through offering greatest knowledge which we possessed while
keeping in our hearts and souls the truthful meaning of
volunteerism. Many of us were surprised about the amazing
turn over and growth of digital technologies in the UAE and
around the world. We have to struggle in order to compete
globally.
This cause will open doors to many
opportunities toward our fellow countrymen, the very reason
why we, at Digerati, are pushing ourselves to commence this
unstoppable commitment showing our sincerity as exactly what
we have pledged at the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai
and in front of our more than 1,100 Filipino course
enrollees.
We highly acclaim and wish to thank the
management of GEOSCIENCE for collaborating with the
DIGERATI
through their CEO in order to push this noble cause for the
betterment of greater Filipinos.
With the guidance of
our almighty God, we are determined to return back all the
Glories in His name.
