DIGERATI’S OFFICIAL LOGO
INTRODUCTION
The choice of
the Digerati's logo reflects the core values of Digerati’s
commitment to assist Filipino community in Dubai though
offering various computing, professional and personal development
programs to further boost and advance their lives through
competitive awareness.
It is
Digerati’s hope and prayer that though this logo is a very
simple icon of Filipino Digerati Association’s beliefs and
values it may be a recognizable symbol of the friendship and
solidarity among Filipino community in Dubai.
i.)
FILIPINO
– The blue object at the left represented by the letter “F”
signifies the
word “Filipino” on the registered name Filipino Digerati
Association;
ii.) DIGERATI
– The red object at the right side represented by “F” (reversed)
symbolizes letter
“D” which stands for he word “Digerati” of the registered name
Filipino Digerati
Association; It’s literal meaning means
people who is highly skilled
in computer, processing and manipulation of
digital information; wealthy or scholarly
techno-geeks.
iii.) ASSOCIATION
– The objects at the left and right sides when put together “F”
& “F”
(reversed) creates an impression of letter “A” which further
means “Association” that
uphold equality and fear with God. An association that serves
Filipino community as a
whole. This shall complete the registered name Filipino Digerati
Association;
iv.)
COMPUTER
– The shape of computer in the middle means training using
Information Technology which is the paramount focus of Digerati;
v.) FILIPINO COMMUNITY
– The Philippine flag inside the computer symbolizes the
Filipino community as a whole which is being lifted by two hands
(blue and red objects at the left and right side positions),
showing a strong spirit of camaraderie and sharing;
vi.)
HANDS
– The left and the right objects signify assistance, support
and nourishment to the Filipino community through Information
Technology;

PEACE & HARMONY
– The blue color represents peace and harmony to all members of
Digerati, coupled by dedication and sincere thoughts in
uplifting Filipino Community as a whole;
viii.)
LOVE
– The red color symbolizes the true LOVE within the members,
officers, Board of Trustees and the rest of the Filipino
community as a whole;
ix.)
CLEANLINESS – The white background of the
computer inside the logo, symbolizes Digerati’s foremost
objective to share knowledge with clean intention and fresh
ideas to Digerati’s students and members adopting without fail
the Digerati’s Code of Ethics. We believed that volunteerism
equals purity.
x.)
EQUALITY & IMPARTIALITY
– The square over all share of the logo suggests that Digerati’s
paramount value is to serve with equality, total impartiality
and unswerving with the Constitutions and By-Laws, toward all
members, students and officers including the Board of Trustees;
xi.)
TRANSPARENCY
- The yellow color of the sun and stars on the
Philippine Flag represent clarity and transparency at all times
on the subject of everything including financial and other
reports produce by Digerati as we firmly believe that the true
spirit of volunteerisms are absolutely do not require any
financial return.
